FACIALS
I start with a thorough cleanse, exfoliation, 20 minute face, neck and shoulder massage followed by application of a mask and then a head massage whilst the mask does its work. A final application of appropriate toner and moisturiser leaves your skin feeling super soft and your mind and body relaxed.
BIO-ULTIMATE GOLD TURBO NON-SURGICAL FACELIFTS
Using microcurrent technology, muscles are ‘re-educated’ to give a more toned and youthful appearance. Try a free consultation where I will do one side of your face to let you see the difference! Usually a course of 12 sessions is recommended, more may be necessary according to skin condition.
MASSAGE – I have qualifications in Swedish, Indian Head, Lava Shell, Remedial and Sports Therapy Massage and my treatments are therefore tailored to suit your specific needs, using a mix of therapies as required. Many clients have commented that it has been “the best massage I have ever had”.
LAVA SHELL MASSAGE - Lava shells are a revolutionary massage treatment, using the world's first self-heating massage tool. Similar to hot stone massage but with the added bonus that the shells retain their heat for much longer allowing a more seamless and relaxing treatment. The shells have an lovely eco-friendly story. The Tiger Clam shells come from a poor region in the Philippines where the clams provide food for the inhabitants, and the shells were previously discarded as waste. However now the shells provide work for the islanders who have a small factory where the shells are highly polished and exported. The shells are heated when a simple salt water activator is added to a blend of food grade minerals, sea kelp and sea algae which not only smells of the sea but is natural, non toxic and biodegradable. Therefore when you have a massage you are not merely enjoying a relaxing, warming treatment but helping a poor area in the Philippines and the planet!
MANICURES AND PEDICURES
My standard manicures take approximately one hour and include thorough cuticle work, nail shape, hand and arm massage and application of base, colour (as desired), top and brilliant coat and quick dry.
Deluxe manicure (1hr 45) comprises hand and arm exfoliation, hand restructure mask, massage with La Remedie Oils, use of warm mittens to soothe hands and allow better penetration of products and finally, the standard manicure as described above. Hands and arms will be left smooth, soft with perfect colour on nails – a perfect treat for hands, arms and nails.
STANDARD PEDICURE (Allow 1.5 hrs)
This includes soak and stimulating massage in pedicure bath, removal of hard skin, thorough cuticle work, cut and shape toe nails, soothing massage to feet and lower legs using Jessica Zen products and finally, application of base coat, colour (as desired), top and brilliant coat and quick dry.
DELUXE PEDICURE (1 hr 45 mins)
This really is a treat for the feet! The treatment begins with soak and stimulating massage in pedicure bath, removal of hard skin using suitable product and/or specialist machine for problem areas, exfoliation of feet and lower legs, followed by a cooling mask to feet and finally the standard pedicure as above.
NON-CHIP NAIL COLOUR
BIOSCULPTURE NAIL GEL gives a non-chip, non-smudge finish to your nails which lasts approximately 2-3 weeks with no damage to the natural nail. It is dry and hard as soon as the treatment is complete, so no worrying about getting the car keys and payment ready in advance! It really is the perfect manicure which will last all holiday. Allow 1.5 hours for initial manicure and 2 hours for subsequent appointments to allow for removal of old gel.
WAXING
I have a choice of two types of wax, one with tea tree oil for sensitive skin and also the regular soft wax for normal skin types. I do most areas of the body – please see price list for specific areas.
ELECTROLYISIS
I use Sterex disposable needles and sterilized equipment and various different needle types to suit different skins. Consultations are free of charge and include removal of a couple of hairs (if desired) in order to let you feel comfortable knowing what the process entails and also to check for skin reaction.
LASH/BROW TINTING – Perfect prior to a holiday or mother of the bride (or any other guest!) to avoid mascara running on the day. It is necessary to carry out a patch test behind the ear 24 hours prior to your appointment if you have never previously had this treatment.
BROW SHAPE/WAX – Last but not least – this is a very important minor treatment which can make all the difference as the brows frame the eyes and can give a real ‘lifting’ effect to the area, so it is always good to keep the brows in check!
